Herd Profile

You will find our herd of these delightful creatures with their rainbow of natural colours on picturesque flat land in the Awahuri area, Manawatu - just north-west of Palmerston North, & 8km from Feilding. We welcome visitors who want to get up close & personal with alpacas in order to find out more about them - and we're sure you will fall in love with them! We have hilarious alpaca experiences from time to time because they are so full of personality.

We are focused on breeding, so the majority of our herd are breeding females of varying ages, colours and quality. There are a few females ‘agisted' with us as investment animals because their owners live in a town or city and do not have land to keep them on.

We have retired a few of our ‘old girls' who are comfortably living out their days in the paddock and we have a crop of lively cria from this/last season. Five of our own stud males, more 'potential' stud males, plus a rare set of TWINS (born last year) complete the herd.

Integrity, honesty, patience and friendliness are our values. We love to have visitors, and to inform newcomers about the world of alpacas. If you choose to buy alpacas from us we also offer comprehensive ongoing after sales service and advice for as long as required (most of those who have bought from us are now our firm friends).

Why do we do it?
We are in this industry as much for the love of alpacas as for any financial gains. Aware that we will never be in the league of the bigger breeders, our aim is to provide affordable animals for sale, excellent follow-up service plus provision of very high quality  stud services for everyone who may currently own, or who would love to own a few alpacas.
